Samantha is an associate at the firm and assists on a broad spectrum of legal matters, including corporate and commercial law, intellectual property law, cannabis law, and related litigation issues in various industries.
Prior to joining Cermele & Wood LLP, Samantha attended The George Washington University Law School, where she received her Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Intellectual Property Law. In 2020, Samantha graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law with a J.D. concentration in Intellectual Property and Information Law. While attending law school, Samantha served as the Executive Editor for the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal. At Cardozo, Samantha also served as a Student Attorney/Client Counselor in the Fashion Law Practicum, providing legal counsel to fashion related startups and companies and advising on legal issues in the global fashion industry. Finally, Samantha has gained significant expertise in design patent law through her two publications in the Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal and the Santa Clara Law Review.
